There are only two main roads, one is the coastal road (32km) that leads right around the Island & the second travels inland to the plantations & the higher part of the Island. By Avarua Harbour you’ll find the main township of Avarua, a great place to shop, dine & socialize. While in Rarotonga Learn to hula or craft a beautiful lei, play volleyball on the beach or perhaps a round of tennis - all are popular past times on the stunning Island of Rarotonga.
