KIA ORANA

A Cook Island Wedding
It’s Romantic, Relaxed &
The people are Wonderful

Only about 31/2 hour from New Zealand, the Cook Islands are made up of 15 Islands. International flights arrive at the largest Island in the group - the vibrant Island of Rarotonga.

A Relaxed Destination
Unspoiled by tourism, the Cook Islands offer a rare opportunity to get away from the fast pace of city life. There are no high-rise hotels or condominiums, no traffic jams & no densely populated built up areas, you will find - swaying palms, stunning white sandy beaches, sparkling Lagoons & pristine coral reefs teeming with marine life.   A slow pace of life & warm smiling faces welcome the instant you arrive.

Wonderful for a Wedding

Rarotonga is a wonderful option for a Wedding or Honeymoon & a fantastic destination for your guests to enjoy. The atmosphere is informal & so much at ease that you will relax the moment you arrive. Sunbathe, swim crystal clear waters, snorkel or scuba the colourful coral reefs or take a Kayak. It is extremely easy to get around the Island. There are only two main roads, one is the coastal road (32km) that leads right around the Island & the second travels inland to the plantations & the higher part of the Island. By Avarua Harbour you’ll find the main township of Avarua, a great place to shop, dine & socialize. While in Rarotonga Learn to hula or craft a beautiful lei, play volleyball on the beach or perhaps a round of tennis - all are popular past times on the stunning Island of Rarotonga.

Currency
New Zealand currency is used in the Cook Islands. With no loss on exchange rates, this benefit is a great added bonus.

The People
The Cook Islands have a rich, vibrant Polynesian culture. Its people are sincere & welcoming & the true warmth of their hospitality will leave  lasting fond memories.
